I love the new laws in Ontario where if you are convicted of drunk driving on the 2nd conviction they take the drivers license away and impound the vehicle to be sold at auction. Maybe they will get the message when they need to purchase another vehicle.
I highly recommend that the Alberta Lays be changed to something similar. I would like to see the vehicle impounded and the license revoked on the FIRST offense. Really ..... If they haven't heard the message why let them have a second chance.
These people have a drinking problem!! When a person is convicted why don't we put them in some sort of drug and alcohol abuse program to see if they can quit drinking.
Or maybe one should have to produce a drivers license to purchase alcohol No license no booze.
